Studley Royal
John Aislabie first started creating his water garden in 1718, and after his death in 1742, it was continued by his son, William. Between
them, they created what is arguably England's most important 18th Century water garden.

Alongside the water garden are temples, follies and waterways, and few 18th Century water gardens would have been complete without them. ,br>
One famous part of Studley Royal is it's deer park. The medieval park is the oldest feature of the Studley Estate, and is grazed today by
500 Red, Sika and Fallow deer.
