Spa Gardens
Spa Gardens is a beautiful park in the heart of Ripon. The garden has the Ripon War Memorial, which has won the Best War Memorial in the
"town class" several times in the Yorkshire in Bloom awards. A Victorian bandstand is in the centre of the gardens, where concerts take
place on Sunday afternoons throughout summer.
Carefully sited nesting boxes have encouraged many varieties of birds to make a home in the gardens, which is popular with birdwatchers.
There are also selected games at the gardens and spa park which is directly opposite. In the gardens there is 18 holes putting, Flat Green
Bowling or 9 holes Crazy Golf, and in the park is a maze, football pitch, childrens play area, and 3 tennis courts. If you're feeling a bit
peckish, Spa Gardens has the Su Parlour Café which serves home cooked food.
